How poetic that this huge one behind me should be in the Historic Oakland Cemetery in Atlanta, GA, alongside the graves of Confederate and Union Soldiers.
Lest we forget.🌹

I never knew this about rosemary – thanks for sharing and agree – let’s always remember ❤
I still have a lapel pin she gave me. Walking through the cemetery reminded me of it.
oh that is wonderful.
and that pin is a keepsake for sure.
have a nice week
I hope your week is nice as well!
Hi Renee!
I’m too didn’t know the meaning of the herb Rosemary. I love it’s smell! I’ve never, ever seen one so big and tall as the one pictured behind you. Wow!
d.
Thank you, Dianna. Yes, the rosemary plants here are quite large. Walking past, just brushing against them, releases their piney fragrance. Just wonderful!
Bittersweet, it is.
Your Grandma sounds like a lovely lady.
That tree is the largest Rosemary I ever seen, I didn’t know it grew so massive.
Rosemary smells like Christmas to me.
Great photo. 🙂
Oh thank you, E.C. She was…
I also did not know this about rosemary, one of my favorite herbs and plants…one of the few that will actually thrive under the care of my black thumbs! But I can’t even imagine a plant as large as that tree! It must smell like heaven! Maybe that is the link to the deceased? 😉
It’s one of my favorites too. I thought I had a large one before seeing this.
I like this idea of Rosemary planting. I love this photo.
Thank you. I want to learn how to make rosemary thrive like this. Just marvelous.
