Happy Anniversary To The Wild Rose Press

Tuesday, April 28th, is the 14th anniversary of The Wild Rose Press, a wonderful publishing company created by Rhonda Penders and RJ Morris to put readers and writers together. I met them at a retreat in Asheville, North Carolina, and although I didn’t know it yet, I met my first editor at that retreat as well, Maggie Johnson. We all said we’d stay in touch. The odd thing is, we did.

With Maggie’s encouragement, I took root in the garden. Although she is now fulfilling other duties at The Wild Rose Press, I have a new editor, Leanne Morgena. We’re working on our first project, but I believe it’s going to be great.

So, as we are celebrating The Wild Rose Press’s success, I want to extend my gratitude for having such a beautiful place to grow.

Happy Anniversary Wild Rose Press. May there be many, many more.

Renee Johnson is the author of Behind The MaskHerald AngelsAcquisition, and The Haunting of William Gray.  She is currently working on a sweet romance, and a historical novel, while editing a suspense novel which has international flair–an homage to her love of travel and foreign food.  She lives on a farm in North Carolina with her husband, Tony Johnson, and two very spoiled German shepherds named Hansel and Gretel.

  1. Happy Anniversary, Renee! (for your publishers) It’is nice to hear from you. It’s especially nice to hear from you with pleasant news. Bad news seems to be the norm. I hope you are well and staying safe.
