I have been invited by Julie Baird and her daughter Tori, owners and operators of Simply Serendipity at 304 Tenth Street in downtown North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, to give a reading from my novel Acquisition.
And we’ve scheduled it for this Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. If you have a chance, please stop by and support this shop. They are featuring arts and crafts, authors, and other products made in North Carolina.
There is sure to be someone on your shopping list whose perfect gift is just waiting there. And they do beautiful wrapping as well.
If there is a reader on your list, copies of my novel will be available.
Hope to see you there!

Sounds like a nice event and great store. Unfortunately, I live in CT. Wishing you and Simply Serendipity the best!
Thank you for the good wishes. CT must be lovely this time of year.
Always better to support small and local businesses – and the items are much more unique and often higher quality.
How exciting you are giving a reading. Sounds wonderful!
It is exciting! And I really like the owner. She is so energetic and supportive. Thanks Karen.
I love shops like this and the name…love it! Have fun, Renee!
It is a great name, isn’t it? Thanks Jill!
I hope you meet some wonderful readers and have great conversation . . .
From your lips to God’s ears!
Good luck and happy sales! How many public readings have you done now? I got busy and got diverted from my reading. (sorry.)
Second official reading, first from this novel. But there were other informal readings, so I am okay with it. And the novel is fun to read from which makes it nice.
What an opportunity, Renee! Sounds like fun. Hope it proves fruitful, too! Here’s to great success!
Thank you Monica! I’ll let you know.
How wonderful! Enjoy it.
You are probably a pro at it by now. Advice?
Love to see things like this. Hope it goes swimmingly!!
Thank you Sean! I hope so too!
